Sickness bug that isn't too bad?

DS vomited the other day and temp went to 40 degs. He then got better, then had another vomit incident. The second time he was ravenous afterwards and ate tea without being sick again.

I was thinking perhaps it was an allergy, but I have had awful diarrhea since and DD did a bit-more-than-a-posset vomit this morning and was off her milk, so think it's a bug. It doesn't seem too debilitating though - are there ones other than norovirus that don't lay people to waste, or is it always norovirus and some get off lightly?

On a side note - have you ever managed to contain a bug to anything less than all the family? Only DH free of it but feel it's a matter of time... feel bad for not cleaning more.

We had something similar last week. The DD of a couple we know threw up once, then her dad got it and vomited a couple of times, then the mum, and our DD. Everyone was fine after a few vomiting incidents, apart from the DCs being off food a bit for a few days. Assume it was just a mild bug.
