How long does a mild cold make you feel like pants for?

I am being pathetic, I know. I have a pretty mild cold, but feel really run down with it. I'm run down anyway tbh.

I have a big work event this weekend.

I know this is pathetic to ask, but will it be gone by then, do you think? Sore throat started Saturday just passed.
