If you do a pregnancy test while you are on the contraceptive pill . . . . . . .

........does it affect the results in any way?

If the result is negative, is it really?

It shouldn't affect the result at all, as the contraceptive pill doesn't contain HCG, the PG hormone.

so if you're on the Pill and have a negative test, think you can start to relax now!

Phew - thanks guys - that's what I thought, but then that nagging voice in the back of my head said .... "but, what if....?"

Have been feeling nauseous on and off for nearly 3 weeks, and thought it was a stomach bug but I wasn't really 'ill' with it, IYKWIM.

Hence the test!!!!!!
