I've had enough now!

DS1 (12) started with being very clammy, fainting and then nasty cold and cough last week which wiped him out for 3 days. He got better then DS2 (3) was sick all of Saturday night/Sunday morning, high temp, cold and cough. DS3 (14 months) on the same night was very hot with cold and cough and now has yukky nappies and both although much brighter now are still not right. Very clingy and tired.

Last night DS2 and 3 both went to bed at 6.15 and slept until 6.30 am and 7.15 am respectively. Unheard of, believe me, in this house!!! I am normally up a good few times a night!

So after the good nights sleep I thought that we may finally be getting rid of the nasty germs in the house , when DS1 wakes complaining of earache (aaaarrrrggghhh). And he is clammy again!

DH and I have avoided it so far (well DH not even here this week, working away) but I know the boys will recover and then I will get it!!

Is it ever going to go? I have had enough!

I agree want it gone. IT has been in the nemo house for 4 wks now bouncing from one to the other. DH managed to avoid it until sunday and both DS 2.4yrs and DD 9wks have the hacking cough that goes with it. I was awake until midnight then up again 2-4,30am then Ds got up at 5.30am then out of bed completely at 6.30am..am sooo tired..no wonder we are not getting better.

Oh yes! Can it just not exist anymore please! We all had a week long tummy bug, then I got lymphangitis in my boob (youch!) that took 3 weeks, then we got another tummy bug, the flu which is taking ages and has given DS (and me ) dodgy nappies yet again!

I do not like February (or January!)!!

calebsmummy · 22/02/2006 08:34

Oh no Nemo, your 9 week old has it!! It's bad enough little ones having it, but so young! I'm not surprised you aren't getting better. Trouble is, us mummies have to put ourselves last so we get sleep deprived and therefore also ill.

Mind you I don't feel any more awake for having my first 'proper' nights sleep in over 3 years! My body is yelling 'SLEEP, ah yes, I remember! MORE PLEASE!!!'

Sending get well soon vibes to the Nemo house x

Oooh might try that one Hausfrau, thankyou.

Nemo, wouldn't that be great! A sleep nanny! My small boys just don't do proper sleeping. They go to bed well, but wake at night and get up at silly o clock every morning (except today )

I had to force myself not to go and check on DS3 this morning with his late sleeping as I knew I would wake him. Strange too how my boys always sleep bettr when DH is working away....

Oh and anyone know where I can order a few extra pairs of arms? Mine seem to permanently have one small boy or the other in them!! Or 2!! As is just about to be the case........
