carnt stop bleeding

hi,ive been taking cerazette now 5weeks, on the 3rd day i started bleeding it lasted for a week then stoped, a day later i started again and havnt stoped since i dont no what to do , by night it has slowed down so i think thank god ive stoped i wake up in the morning only to be heavy again ,its really starting to get me down. im very moody and i want to stop taking them but i carnt get another pill as the doctor said im over weight. one thing for sure i carnt get pregnant again cos i carnt stop bleeding :(

I think you've got to go back to your doctor as this amount of blood loss is not good for you. If I were you, I'd make an appt asap.

Yes, go back and see your GP. I had this happen too and was told to stop taking them as it's dangerous to bleed for too long. Might be worth getting an iron supplement too.

cerazette is only one of several mini-pills you could try as there are 4 groups of mini-pill each with a different active ingredient. I tried femulen and micronor before ending up on cerazette.

An alternative is something like the mirena coil which helps reduce bleeding (I now have one and am happy with it so far)

I was like this in the first two months of getting the Implant. Thankfully it's settled down. I was all for having it taken out but decided to wait it out and I think I'm in a regular cycle now.

Hope your bleeding settles soon. It's a nightmare!
