I have got a chest infection & have asthma too. Got prescribed amoxicillin on monday & told if no better to come back at end of week. Went today & have had the antibiotics changed to Clarithromycin & have steroids in case I get worse over the wkend. Since taking the Clarithromycin I'm feeling ill, sick, an awful metallic taste in the mouth, stomach cramps & dizziness which are all in the side effects. Before I was feeling fine apart from my breathing. So would you just put up with it & treat it as a necessary evil or ring doctors tomorrow to see if they can change it?
