I am 7 weeks postpartum and have a pressure feeling in my vagina. I got the Dr to check me 2 weeks ago and she said everything was fine, it went away and it's now back again. I'm convinced it's a prolapse! If I feel internally when sitting it feels normal inside, but when I stand I can feel a lump inside is this normal?? Please help me girls as I'm really stressing :(

No experience of this, I'm sorry to say but didn't want to leave you hanging with no feedback.
I'd say if you're still not happy go back to your GP.

Hopefully some other MN-ers will be along shortly to offer more advice.

Why not give NHS direct a ring to ask for their advice ??

Sorry I can't help x

It's perfectly normal for your vaginal walls still to be very weak at this stage. It doesn't mean you'll end up with a prolapse. Unless you have other symptoms (e.g pain, discharge, difficulty passing urine), don't panic, keep doing your PF exercises and it should settle. See your GP if not improving at all after a few weeks of doing your PF exercises faithfully (but remember it can take 6 months to get the full effect) or straightaway if you have any of the other symptoms I mentioned.

Leaflet about PF exercises here - it talks about exercises for stress incontinence but they are the same postpartum.
