Sciatica help

Ok I have had sciatica on and off for years. Mainly it comes on for a week and disappears for the rest of the year
Now I have had it for 3 months continuously. Have been referred to physio via work which I am not convinced is helping. Personal trainer says my ITB is tight and not helping. My muscles are tight and my leg is twisting and rotating. The pain is in one side only, lower back, bum and down leg. I am foam rolling, being aware of posture etc etc and no joy
Is it GP time? What will they do if I have already had physio? I don't know what is causing it at all
I exercise 4-5 times a week

Yes. Go back to the GP. Life is too short to be in pain. A relative of mine had it very badly and had an operation a couple of years ago. It was very successful and he is now absolutely fine with no sciatica. I am not saying that you might have to have an op as it depends on the severity of the sciatica but definitely go and see your GP to see what they can do.

I will go. I haven't actually been about it since they said it was sciatica a few years ago Blush
But I am only 28 and it seems a bit odd to have it going on for so long
