Can I ask a serious question about Floradix?

I'd never heard of it before today. Does it work for car sickness?

The only Floradix I know is a natural iron tablet/liquid. Is there any other Floradix? Why would an iron supplement help with travel sickness? [Confused]

SorenLorensen · 17/02/2006 11:46

Oh piss, I've just got that Marina was joking on the other thread about it solving every problem in my life. I thought her last sentence was serious.

I'll go and join Enid in the corner.

Marina's post on Enid's Floradix thread:

Come on Enid, fess up. Have you checked the other side of that cap yet?
SL, if you drink Floradix (whether or not from the bottle) you will always win at quizzes and enjoy social success at PTA functions. Your norks will become perky and you will understand all the plot compressions, omissions and illogicalities of the latest ER series, including why robo-Dubenko had his hair cut and why John Leguizamo can't unclench his teeth.
Oh, and it stops children vomiting too.

Now, I knew the first lot of magical properties were a fib, but I thought the last sentence was true.

LOL. Its an iron supplement - very good one btw. Doesn't constipate you either.

Ah SL, you and Enid are certainly cheering me up today.

SorenLorensen · 17/02/2006 11:53

Glad to be of use, poppies

Sorry SL
I really am. I too have clutched at straws over ds' car sickness, but..he has grown out of it at six and maybe this will happen for your ds...

SorenLorensen · 17/02/2006 12:00

I will forgive you, Marina. But only because I am a Very Nice Person.

Doesn't floradix help performance in quizes as well?

People have to be tested for it in 'top level ' quiz night

Marina · 17/02/2006 12:06

Or would that be pseudofloradix MB ("my Health Visitor told me it would be all right")

Blandmum · 17/02/2006 12:07

yer, the bastards always say they only took it because the were anaemic or some such guff.

Mind you, we can all tell that SL didn't take any

SorenLorensen · 17/02/2006 12:10

You're picking on me now...I'm going to cry...I have a hangover too, you know.

OP posts:
Marina · 17/02/2006 12:36

More hugzzz needed I think hun, do hope you feel better very soon!
Oh no, punters at six o'clock. Don't these imbeciles realise I have to Mumsnet

SorenLorensen · 17/02/2006 12:37

Send 'em off in the stacks somewhere - maybe they'll get lost.

OP posts:
Marina · 17/02/2006 12:39

I wish we had stacks to lose them in. Trussing them up with binding tape, gagging them and stuffing them under the workstations has led to complaints in the past. It really is spookily quiet here actually, hope I remembered to unlock the main door this morning

SorenLorensen · 17/02/2006 12:40

PMSL, had you better check?
