Thyroid results???

I had bloods done recently and gp says I am borderline underactive thyroid so not medicating.
TSH is 6.4 and T4 is 11.9 is this bad/ good?

With regard to taking levo. My endo and my GP have never given any particular instructions on how to take it. My growing library of reference books is where I read that you should take levo on an empty stomach, avoid eating for at least an hour after taking it. Milk and soya are often cited as foods to avoid for up to 3 hours after taking levo.

I suppose at the end of the day as long as you feel well it doesn't matter when or how you take your pill. If taking it with lunch works for you then carry on. This condition is as individual the person as there signature. There is no universal rule for everybody. For instance my TSH 3 weeks ago was 4.1 and I feel very well at that level whilst others feel terrible.

Hi I’m new on her not sure how it all work as this is an old thread.

But after any advice related to thyroid problems I’ve had lots of niggly issues that have always been dismissed then I went to th drs as constantly exhausted having to sleep so much more I was sent for bloods I’ve just got the results and was told needed thyroid ones again in six months as I was border line at 6.4 this means absolutely nothing to me I asked for an app and was told by the nurse I don’t need to see a dr until had test done in 6 months I said that seemed along time so she has brought it forward to three months and basically said other symptoms probably aren’t related ?? Help please thank you xx
