it feels like an anaesthetic is wearing off. All the time! It is almost always present unless I am so engaged in something that I fail to notice. I have had it for ages but feel so stupid going to the docs to say I have a tingly face. I have made an appt for today but wondered if anyone else has experienced this/heard of it? it sometimes seem so affect my left eye. It is never on the right had side. worried.com Sad

I've think I've had this recently. Its a funny sort of sensitive feeling at the sides of my face and around my eye area. My eyelids sometimes twitch too.... not to mention the horrible rash on eyebrows too.. Go to the gp and see what they think. and try not to worry

thanks, i did go to docs. He thinks thatthe nerves have been affected following on from some sort of viral infection (cold, sinus etc). It is sitll tingling but there is no cure! It will just clear up in its own time. Unnerving isn't it!

It is unnerving - I had a bad viral infection about six months ago and haven't really been all that well since then. I'm just giving it time but I just want to get back to normal!
