Baby has had temp all day. What should I do?

I.it's been going between 38 and 39 all day, he has had calpol 3 times now and cools down a tiny bit but goes up again after an hour or 2, what should I do?

He's 8 months if counted in weeks? It's down to 38 just now, last had calpol at 1am.

We have tried all of those things and he just isn't happy without light pyjamas on either. Should I ring them? Thanks btw. :-)

Thank you. :) He seems okay in his self, just wanting lots of cuddles and has decided now is time to try and steal my laptopandplay the baby piano on it. Think I will try and ride it out a bit more and if it gets any worse I wil phone.
