what could have happened to my toe?

The other week i was laid stretched out on the sofa when DH went to sit down and caught my big toe as he parked his arse.....i heard a loud "crack" and it really really hurt!!

it did not swell but it bruised instantly, though not a bad bruise, just a tiny blue bruise on the top of the toe,

but since then it feels numb, i cannot feel anything if i touch the top of my toe, its a really odd sensation, feels like pins and needles to touch it but thats it, no real feeling in it.

What the heck could he have done?

It sounds like you have dislocated it. If you have no feeling in it or pins and needles I think it needs relocating asap. I think you need a trip to the docs.

really?? its not painful though and its all looking ok....hurts a little if i bend it really hard (you know if i curl my toes) but apart from that seems ok apart from the lack of feeling - could it be dislocated and not be agony?
