my dd has what my aunt is sure is measles, covered in a rash, high temp, miserable, off food, ect, but does anyone know if there is a way to tell measles from german measles, as there is a teeny chance i could be pregnant?

this should help - this is about german measles but there's a link to measles on it

have you had german measles lanismum? Or a vax? Either way you should be ok. you can get your immunity status checked with a blood test.

children are generally pretty ill with measles with sore runny eyes, cough and spots inside the mouth which the GP would be able to see. German measles tensds to be quite mild with a generalised offish feeling and a rash.

thank you all for answering, i have had measles, not sure on german measles, never had the vax as a kid though, cant remember if my immunity was checked when i was pregnant before, ill have to go to the gps to see which sort dd actually has, i havent taken her yet as im managing to keep her temp down with calpol. from what laylaandsethsmum says its more likely dd has german measles as shes def not herself and has the rash, but she doesnt seem that ill, her eyes are ok too.
