I had a diagnostic laparoscopy end of march last year. Gynae found extensive superficial endometriosis which he lasered. I had a few lovely months of respite but since February I have had these symptoms before and during my period:
Shooting pains in my rectum
Dragging pain down my thighs
Dairrhoea
Extremely painful bowel movements
And also ovulation pain that is almost as bad.
I know in my heart of hearts that it's the endo growing back. But I am not sure what to do... Seems the options are Contraception (but we are TTC), stronger painkillers (I have mefAnemic acid, buscopan and codeine but none of them help), or another laparoscopy.
Has anyone had a second lap? Do you think it could help...I don't want to keep messing around with my insides but I can't go on like this. Haven't made an appt to see the gynae yet
Thanks all for your advice x
