On thurs afternoon i got my classic 'coming down with a cold' felling and had a tickly sore throat.
i was woken in the night on thur with terrible nausea which last 8 hours. then it cleared and i got a bit of an appetite back by fri mid morning.
during friday i just felt overcome by cold symptoms, v lacking in energy and slept during the afternoon.
today i still feel really dreadful, but no fever. my head feels under pressure and my ears/ jaws ache constantly. my chest was burns when i cough, which for me unusual for the the first 36 hours of a cold.
could this be flu? or is the sickness a tummy bug that happened to coincide with a very heavy cold?
i will have to drive 5 mins later to pick dds up from my mum's and whilst i will have to psyche myself up to do this drive- in my PJs!- i feel i will physically manage it. am thinking with proper flu i would be too ill to leave my bed.
any thoughts?
