Since I was around ten, I have suffered from one cold sore. As my luck would have it, I get it right across the tip of my nose. Nowhere else. My stepmum suffers with cold sores and my grandma, so I suspect it was probably passed on from them.
Normally I get it at the end of a cold so I start using zovirax as soon as a cold starts and it keeps it at bay.
However I have it currently with no cold but have been hugely stressed. I hate it, it looks horrendous and each time i get it, then it heals, it leaves a slightly deeper dent in my nose.
I read somewhere that lasering can be an option to prevent it from breaking out in the same spot over and over. Does anyone know if this is true and have had it done?
