Continual slimy throat/ earache/general sinuse problems any help please

I'm on Clarithromycin at moment, doctor thought it might clear sinuses, not helping after 5 days now. Started with bad cold/flu symptoms a month ago, had decongestants and rest. Still producing a lot of mucus after all these weeks - feeling of slim at bad of throat - not nice - earache/pressure. Anyone had this for this long - any advice what I can do/get to clear it. thanks

It can take ages to clear, I was offered steroids once after a really bad infection.

Try menthol crystals inhalations, dont make it too strong. They could be used to replace water boarding if you make them too strong. Try a few crystals in boiling water in a cup.

Thanks for that fluffycloud I'll get some. Any more advice/experiences anyone.

Being introduced to neti has kept my tubes clear. Neti pots are available on Amazon.
