Side effects of Naproxen or diclofenic?

I was on both of these medications last year (2011) in December of last year I started having investigations for bowel issues as I had been bleeding

How likely is it that these medications caused the bleeding?

They could have, it os one of their side effects - have you been taking ones that are coated so they don't break down in your stomach?

Where you on both at the same time Katy? They are both NSAIDs so I thought you'd only take one or the other?

I was taking Naproxen when I had surgery last year where the lining of my lung was knicked by mistake by the surgeon. The Naproxen caused a huge bleed in the pleura of my lung which wouldn't stop.

I was on the 'safe' diclofenic but it didn't agree with me so I swopped to the naproxen

I rarely take either now except when I have my period, which the only time I ave the bleeding now
