Just alan really to get it off my cheat as it were. I'm ten weeks pregnant and since being pregnant I have had tonsillitis treated with antibiotics, then it recurred and another ten day antibiotics, then I had d and v, then a chest infection which I've nearly shifted without antibiotics. Had diarrhoea in between a few times which I think was pregnacare and last night had to come home from work on a night shift with d n v again. Had a lovely episode of green vomit and keep getting pain in top of my tummy. I don't eat to go to drs again as last time he said I was just unlucky :(. Cannot be normal to get all this early pregnancy or am i just bloody unlucky?

Thanks for reading im just feeling very pitiful at the moment xx

No ,no ,no - I think because you're unwell you're not thinking clearly .

This level of illness needs treating and you should go back to GP .
( tho understand that you don't want to risk being made to feel worse by an unsympathic GP ) .

Gather your strength , make an appointment and let us know how you get on .

Very Common side effects of antibiotics are vomiting and diarrhoea, could it be that?
Also could the vomiting (if constant and often) be hyperemesis?
I had hyperemesis all the way through my pregnancy, not very nice.

chezzie have you managed to get a GP appt yet ?

Are you feeling any better ?

chezziejo · 03/05/2012 22:15

Hi all thanks for replying. I didn't have antibiotics for te cheat infection and had been off the previous lot 3 weeks so don't think it was that. I think the pregnacare was not helping either it seems to coincide with icky tummy. Regarding the other d n v a few people at work been off with same thing guessing a bug.

Didn't go to drs gingeroots but I do feel a lot better and appetite coming back so going to see how I go :-) only 2 weeks to go and il
Be over the magic 12 weeks so hopefully that will help too. :)
