I'm being silly right?

About 4 months ago DH and I had an oops moment and had unprotected sex. My period was about 2 days late - I'd POAS but got a negative result.
Since then I've had a period every month. They've been about normal - quite heavy and realtively pain free. I've had PMS.

However, despite watching my food intake and training hard for The Moonwalk, I have lost no weight, I've had a pain in my pubic area and a lot of back ache. I have also had moments of nausea and I am shattered

My period is now 5 days late ( very unusual) and I have no PMS symptoms. The last time DH and I had sex was 3 months ago (Don't judge).

I'm just being silly worrying that I am pg aren't I and these symptoms have a million other more rational explanations?

Youre probably being silly, but why dont you just do another pregnancy test instead of fretting?

neverputasockinatoaster · 20/04/2012 16:13

I thought about it but would a HPT work at 4 months ish?

Also OH might find out and I'd rather only one of us fretted ourselves silly!

I'm off out tomorrow so I shall find a quiet loo!

The pains and aches could well be because you're training, rather than despite the fact you're training. And muscle weighs more than fat so quite common to not lose much weight - you'll be less flabby though.

I think the HPT would work.

As you`ve been having regular and quite heavy periods, it seems unlikely that you are pregnant.

Your delayed period is probably due to a combination of intense exercising and worry about the unprotected sex that is still preying on your mind. :)

yes HPTs do work at 4 months. I speak from experience Hmm

Do it!

neverputasockinatoaster · 20/04/2012 17:49

If nothing turns up tomorrow I shall POAS! If nothing else it will stop me fretting!

If you're worried the HPT won't be accurate because the levels are too high, you could buy a twin pack and test one with diluted urine as well.
