cystitis and the coil....

I am not sure if it is cystitis or maybe something else but it started a day after sex and I felt a bit tender inside. I have this feeling of needing to wee but can't and when I do its a mild burning pain inside or like I need to squeeze more to wee.I have the coil fitted and at first though dh might of moved it as I had a pinching feeling inside that's now eased but I am trouble weeing.

It sounds very like cystitis from your description. Would drink plenty of water and if you can get to a pharmacy tonight, get some of those sachets that make your urine less acidy and then see GP tomorrow if no better. Wouldn't leave it because it can get nasty very quickly and spread up towards your kidney which really isn't fun. I think sex can trigger off a bout of cystitis. Hope you feel better soon.
