doubled up with stomach pain

Apols in advance for typos, I'm on my phone.

I've just been to the loo (number 2!) and now I have really bad pains in my lower abdomen.

It almost feels like the pain you get with constipation, but I have no actual feeling of needing to 'go' iyswim.

It gets worse in waves- is there all time, worse at times but mostly bearable if I am curled in ball.

Google is too hard to understand while I'm in pain.

To avoid obvious questions, no possibility of pregnancy and had gaall bladder out years ago.

Any ideas?

Ibs? Stomach ulcer? Appendix?

StarshitTerrorise · 15/04/2012 19:00

I can suffer from IBS but the stomach ulcer I had was the most painful.

vigglewiggle · 15/04/2012 19:00

If it is sooooo bad that you can't Google then I would be on my way to A and E.

EmpireBiscuit · 15/04/2012 19:01

Do you need a good ole fart?

spendthrift · 15/04/2012 19:02

RandomMess · 15/04/2012 19:03

08454647 nhs direct

angelberry · 15/04/2012 19:17

I know NHS direct will tell me to go to a and e to be on safeside. I will do that if it doesn't clear soon. Just wondered if anyone has medical knowledge which might help.
In terms of how bad it is- I'm not crying in pain, but I can't do anything. Not even stand up straight. Does that make sense?

Doesn't feel like wind. Def feels like its my bowel area, seems to start at the bottom. Up to my belly button.

Am in bath now but it's not helping.

Thanks for replies btw.

er... the reason they say go to a&e is because some of the 'maybe's are really bad.

Please don't sit around to see if your appendix bursts.

Marrow · 16/04/2012 11:58

Hope you're feeling better today. I have had several bowel obstructions and the pain for that would come in waves and almost feel like contractions. Have you been sick at all?
