It's a Sunday. Can the chemist give him something? He is adamant he isn't phoning OOH just for that.

Optrex do an Infected Eyes treatment OOC. Contagion control v important today as it spreads like a bastard. Lock him in the tower!

Trizelda · 15/04/2012 08:06

Yes....the stuff the doc would give him can now be dispensed by the pharmacist.

Agamumnon · 15/04/2012 08:07

OTC I mean

Sparklingbrook · 15/04/2012 08:09

Oh that's good news. I thought the Doctor stuff may be stronger. It's really miserable but is's making me a bit twitchy re the contagious thing. I will also have to administer the drops.

Cooled boiled water and cotton wool works, I don't bother taking the kids anymore for drops

Sparklingbrook · 15/04/2012 08:12

I wondered that Claimed. He's been up half the night with cotton wool pads and water as it is.

Bit of salt in the water

VivaLeBeaver · 15/04/2012 08:27

The drops will work faster and if it's bad enough to have had him up half the night then get the drops. Chemist can "prescribe" them now.

Sparklingbrook · 15/04/2012 08:35

I think we will do the cooled bolied water til Boots opens then I will shove him in there to show them his eye. Bit fed up because it's the last day before the DC go back to school and we wanted to do stuff. Sad

Weak chamomile tea apparently - and he knows to use a fresh piece of cotton wool each sweep doesn't he?

Or a squirt of breastmilk if you know of anyone willing to oblige Grin

ohforfoxsake · 15/04/2012 08:38

God that sounds wrong Blush EBM obv Blush

I'll get my coat ....

Sparklingbrook · 15/04/2012 08:44

Yes fox, he has used half a pack of my cotton wool pads so far Angry Mmm I don't know where I could get a squirt of breastmilk. Ten years ago I could have obliged. Grin

Did he get something or is he still suffering??

Sparklingbrook · 15/04/2012 16:45

Well I gave him all the options Claimed. He chose the salty cooled boiled water and it's looking quite a lot better thanks. If it is bad again in the morning he will be going to the chemist. It's only the one eye still.....
