First time on the pill..(marvelon)..any thoughts or reviews?

After years on the coil, I've finally decided to make the switch to the pill..

Doc has prescribed marvelon to help combat some slight acne on forehead and greasy hair syndrome..these probs have only occured since my ectopic last nov..and I feel generally my hormones haven't settled back to normal..

Would like to know experiences and thoughts from mums who have tried and tested marvelon..thanks

I spent many years on Marvelon and had no problems at all. It definately helped with the acne too. Since dd's arrival I have switched to the coil because after 15 years I've had enough of taking (and forgetting )tablets

I liked it, much better than microgynon for me - less moody & less prone to weight gain too. I was on it for years.

I was on Marvelon for 8 years, initially to reduce period pain and regulate my cycle. I had no problems at all, and it certainly helped with the pain.

thats great to hear, as i was feeling a little anxious about taking it for the first time..lets hope it all goes well..thanks for your posts
