Lying here having an early night and have just plugged in the CPAP machine for the first time ever. Weird but not horrendously uncomfortable. Hope it won't interfere with sleep too much.

Anyone else afflicted with this?

My dh has OSA - very severely - and has been on CPAP for 5 years now. It has transformed his life.

The mask can make a huge difference, and there are loads of different ones out there, so if yours isn't comfy you can try others.

A fleece hose cover is worth getting -it keeps the air warm and so more humid, and stops the hose rubbing on the bed making an annoying noise

Hope you've now had a good 2 nights sleep Codandchops. I remember those first few days well, and it took me quite a while to get into the CPAP therapy. You can read my story on my website www.hope2sleep.co.uk/page/my-story

I hope you're already feeling a bit better during the daytimes. Some people get instant results, but for others it takes a while.

Good luck and shout out if you need any help.

Kath
