Swim socks?

Hello. My son is on this second Verruca since starting swimming with the school last Sept. The first took an eternity to go, and he now has the start of a second. We are wondering about those latex swim socks, to help prevent any more.

Anyone tried these? If so... can you recommend? Oh.... and which make!

thanks in advance. x

You catch them from the rough non slip flooring around the pool, if my memory serves me correctly.

How about some flip flops for walking to and from the changing rooms?

hello Fluffycloudland77 - I will speak to his teacher, flip flops might be an answer, yes. Thanks for that. xx

I buy the latex socks from the swimming pool if my sons/daughter have a verruca and they just wear it whilst they have one.

I wouldn't like them to wear them if they didn't have a verruca. The children at my daughters school particularly like to bully/tease anyone with latex socks on.

Flip flops are a good idea. When my lot are rid of their current infection I will try to introduce this.

Flip flops won't be much help during the swimming lesson, as normally what they do is swim a lane and come back walking to the teacher. Only when they are older and very good swimmer they stay all the time in the water.
Some pools have special feet showers.
Teach you son to dry his feet and not to put his socks back if feet are still moist. Give him a small towel to put on the floor of the changing room while he is getting dressed/undressed.
