I've done the whole give her time in steamy bathroom to help clear her chest and prop up matress on yellow pages thing but she's still coughing. Anything else I can do or give her?

Poor little one! I know how you're feeling. My ds2 (also 7 wks) just recoverd from a bad cold. Have you had it too? And are you breastfeeding? If answer to both is yes: you will be passing on the antibodies you've made to fight off the cold, so she will be fighting it with your help.
You can get this stuff to rub on their chest. You do have to make sure it is made for babies though, as some have menthol in, and you're not supposed to use that on very small infants (I have something my mum brought from holland, which is called Luuf, don't know if that's sold in UK too...).
The steamy room and lifting the head end of the bed should help a bit already. NHS direct told me that there's not much more you can do than sit it out....
Hope she gets well soon!
