Sore boob!!

Woke up this morning with a very sore boob on one side, it is very tender to touch, i had a hot bath and and a feelfor any lumps and bumps but there were not any...never had this before could it be to do with my period that started on thursday?? should I see drorwaitand see what happens??? have been trying to think if i have banged it but dont think so :( Anyone with suggestions?(oh stopped breast feeding about 1 year ago)

Is the skin red/hot and do you feel unwell?

see a GP. Mastitis is possible without breastfeeding.

Second mastitis. Hope you managed to see GP and get some antibiotics if it is that.

I'd see a GP ASAP... if it is mastitis, it could get very much more painful very quickly.

Hi there, thank you for you replies, no i feel fine, felt abit better yesterday and now it is almost normal?? think it may have just been a bit of a hormonal thing, will see dr if it happens again :-)
