I had my (evil, horrible, ugly, painful) varicose veins taken out on 7th March. Now I know that's not really that long ago, but my legs are still a bit stiff & sore and tender behind the knees. [And I'm not very patient!!
] All up my thighs where the veins were taken out feels bruised if I prod it, and I have sore lumpy bits in my thighs too.
I can walk around fine now, my legs are initially a little sore when I first get up if I've been sitting down for a while. But anything involving impact (e.g. running for the bus!) is still a bit of a no-no. I'm going to go back to some gentle exercise next week (swimming and Pilates I'm thinking), but I'd be interested in your experiences of how long things took to settle down and stop being sore?
Ta!
