Hi

I get married in ten days, my chum's little one has just been diagnosed with scarlet fever, should i avoid my chum (hen night tomorrow) in case i catch it before my wedding? She was told by doc its highly infectious.

Thanks

YES avoid!

My then 5 year old brought this home from school and the rest of us all came down with it together, awful, awful.

once you start the penicillin it is a quick recovery. Im not sure of the infectious period etc but I wouldnt risk it

best of luck for your wedding
