ds2 (2.5) has a sore and swollen bit.........................

It's basically at the top of his penis, where it joins the scrotum. It's like a circle of red inflamed skin, obviously very painful. It is only this one area. I tried metanium and also a bit of hydrocortisone cream, but it's still the same. Will take him to GP on Mon, but just wondering if anyone knows what it might be.

My son started to grow which made his forskin quite painful, took him to the docs and got cream and was told to really gently stretch his forskin every night but only once a day and it has got better. If we dont do it he starts to complain about it. He had and still does have very small white spots near the end. He also gets excema on his willy which shows as a red area. Could this be it?

taking him to gp today, its getting worse not better, area is pretty swollen. hydrocortisone making it worse and metanium useless.

Can you let us know what it was, but only if you dont mind.

gp said it's either a bacterial or fungal infection, so he's given me 2 types of cream to apply, one of which should hopefully do the trick!
