ok - we are TTC at the moment, and DD has just been diagnosed with chickenpox. I have never had it.
DH is away, I am alone with her, and may be pregnant. Obviously cannot do much about Doc's advise to stay away from her.

What is the earliest meaningful result when POAS? I am scheduled in for blood sample at the surgery in a couple of days to test immunity. Not sure how long it will take to get the results back.
Have you got any advice?

:(

we had a scare when I was pregnant.. the doctor told me it would take 4 days.. i called the mat unit and they ran a test on my blood they had on file and called me with a result within the hour

I know you are in a different postion .. cant call the mat unit .. but at least you know they can find out quickly if they need to ..so stand your ground

Good luck

Thanks for your reply - I had a blood test for immunity this morning. The nurse was a bit puzzled as why this was done, since the results will apparently take 7 days, by which time I would know if I have contracted it from DD or not.

I guess I will know for sure whether I have immunity or not...
