Help / advice needed with periods missing in action

Hi all

am on Microgynon 30 (?) and have not had a period for 3 months bit more info :

been quite a stressful time in these 3 months

Have lost 1 1/2 stone in last 3 months

Does anyone know can you just miss periods like this or should i be concerned ?

Hi it could be to do with your weight loss. I've recently lost 2 stone due to illness & my periods have also disappeared. I mentioned it to both my GP & consultant & they both confirmed that it is possible for quite rapid weight loss to stop your periods - apparantly it's quite common. I'd speak to your GP tho just to out your mind at rest. Hope everything is ok.
