I have had this for a few days, and it is getting worse.
I had a uti a few weeks ago, not helped by not drinking enough liquid...I am quite bad at drinking water.
I am going to make a dental appt..am due in May anyway but will get teeth checked..I do have a lot of fillings dating from the seventies in my back teeth.
I am not pregnant..am 51 and on HRT. i 'm waiting for blood test results. Omng back to see if I have finished ovulating.
Anyone got any ideas?

Bells Palsy?

Are you on any antibiotics? They can cause a metallic taste.

Equally, I have had it before, and it just disappeared and was apparently nothing.

Helpful!

My MIL has this and she's been to GP and dentist and they dint know what it is. But I was reading in a book that it can be due to a digestive problem?

Have you eaten pine nuts recently?

Mrsrobertduvall · 16/03/2012 21:20

I've had this on and off all my life. I don't know why, either. Have endless medical woes, but nothing likely to explain a metallic-tasting mouth!
