Does this sound like PMS symptoms?

Hi Please don't hate me but I think I'm a bit new to the PMS symptoms since having dd2. Ok had very slight rattiness (but not much different than normal tbh!) after dd1 but gradually since periods resumed after dd2 (20 mths) I seem to be having new symptoms each time. The last few days I have felt really bloated & have stomach pain, not sharp stabbing pain more the sort you want to have a warm bath or massage your tummy or have a hot water bottle. Also last month started having bad pains in my pelvic area, sort of each side of where pubic hair is (tmi) I have just come back from the doctors as was getting a bit concerned about the stomach ache, they can't find anything wrong, say it most probably is period related, like a numpty I can't actually remember the date of my last period but at a guess it's a week away. Is this normal because it's making me miserable & I really am getting a bit depressed if this is what it's going to be like. Now I realise I got off really lightly before!

I had hellish period pain before having kids, although different symptoms to what you list. Tried loads, only thing I found that worked (and trust me I was SHOCKED it worked!) was a magnet I got from Avon which I attached to my knickers (by pubic area) for 3 days + before I came on. Had to be 3 days plus or it wouldn't work. Only bought it cos 1) I was desperate and 2) it had a money back guarantee. If this becomes a regular issue it might be worth tracking one down?

Thanks gemma that sounds interesting. My period has actually started now which I'm glad about although feeling more rotten now, at least I know what it is. Really not looking forward to being like this every month though. Strangely enough I used to suffer really bad joint pain which the cause was never found but that seemed to sometimes be linked to my cycle, I think as it's difficult to pin down. That disappeared when I was pregnant both times & although has come back is only mild compared to what it originally was. All very strange really.
