Outbreak at dd's nursery, she's 15 mo they think she may have it. She only has two red spots on her leg, andctwo-three on her arm (where she usually has eczema). They're red spots, not blistered. How long does it take for the rash to spread?

Also am pg had chicken pox as a child, is there any risk to the baby / me?

Tia.

I think you'll know by morning whether it is chicken pox. Has she been in contact with it?

If you had it as a child you and your baby should be fine :-)

Thanks view yes I think children at the nursery had it so it's doing the rounds...

Try an emollient in the bath water for itching-worked really well for mine.
Whereas callomine lotion had them running for cover.

Hope she's not too bad for you.

Thanks - looks like no more spots so overnight so I don't think it is chicken pox after all!
