A few months ago I was involved in a little collision and I sustained minor whiplash on my left hand side. Basically if you can imagine someone putting their hands on your shoulders, where the left thumb lands is where I feel the tightness and pain. If I drop my head onto my chest it pulls. Well this evening whilst doing a mammoth cook it started really hurting and felt like it was in spasm but then it also sort of felt like it was radiating into the front by my collarbone although the pain was definitely in the back. Is this normal?

Ive taken 2 paracetamols but just wanted to rule out heart attack

Or physiotherapy. Thats what I had after a whiplash injury 7 years ago. Although it will still plague me now if I over work my neck, shoulders and back.
