General anaesthetic side effects?

Hello. I had my varicose veins stripped out today (my legs are already bruising up marvellously - excellent! ). It's the first time I've had a general anaesthetic and since I've come round from it I've constantly had to yawn to clear my ears. I usually only have to do that when I fly! Anyone else had this?

Yes, they make me bunged up, and my sinuses get full at the same time. They also make me cry for two days...

I haven't had any tears, although I have felt close at times!! Mainly because I couldn't really move much for a day after and it all hurt quite a bit. I'm hoping the ear/yawning thing stops soon. Glad to hear someone else has had that and it is anaesthetic related. Thanks for replying!
