Dental advice pls , about 15 yrs ago when i was 17 i needed a filing so my dentist put one i couple of wks later my tooth snapped as it was a near frount tooth the dentist put a cap on, which was all fine , i carried on going for check ups every six months , my dentist informed me a needed a filing on my front tooth an asked me if i would like my teeth matching so they all looked the same at the front and would give me a better smile , i dint really understand what he meant but he told me i would need it doing in a few years anyway, so i agreed to get it done before i was 18 an had to pay, he told me it protects your teeth from futher hole ect, he capped 9 of my front teeth, i did not understand what this involed (tooth on a pin) since having them done15 yrs ago ive had nothing but infections, evey few months for yrs ive had them cut out of the roof of my mouth and packed , which caused my caps to drop down abit so i couldnt smile as it looks black at the top of 6 teeth, ive also had infection cut out my gums , i have been though so much pain over the yrs am ashamed, depressed, upset and cant carry on like this anymore, i cant aford private treatment , even thou i do pay my nhs charges & we both work doesnt mean we are any better off, i was told i needed 6 off my caps replacing 5 yrs ago argently before the roots became infected again this was by an emg dentist, , nsh wont do it and i cant aford private ive even changed dentist and been told they wont do cosmetic work 100s of times, and low and behold two massive infections are back again, this is taking over my life , i cant even get a loan to get them done prive , i was refured to the hospital again to have one cut out but they refused as they said my dentist needs to root treat it first, i pay 47.00 every 8 wks my treatment never seems compleated, i am on amoxicillin again, and in so much pain , i cant go on like this, i know its only gonna get reinfected again untill they do the root canal work and replace the caps , but they wont do it, am so upset , i have changed dentists many times to try and get this work done , but they wont , yrs ago they dint mind doing this because they could claim and charge nsh what they wanted , even if you dint need it doing , which i dint, but now they wont sort the problem out they caused which has put me threw pain for years , has anyone any advice please , close to pulling all my teeth out as they wont even do that for me , help please
