Help for a friend with Health Anxiety

I have a friend at work who (I think) suffers from health anxiety. She is always worried about something health wise ( since having a health scare last year which turned out fine but she still worries ) and she now seems hung up on all things and worries that every ache and pain is something serious.

I don't really know how to help her, I let her talk through her worries with me if she gets that 'look' on her face when she is worrying ( she is my TA at work so i aeee her daily).
She can sometimes be a bit short with the children although usually seems to be able to not think about it and get on with her work without her worries interfering.

What can I do to help her? I suggested going to her gp but she said no. What next?

Hi I think CBT might be good for dealing with anxiety, but she might need to go to her gp first, so they can asses her.
It is hard when you have had a health scare and not to be paranoid, but she does need to nip it in the bud soon, and she can with the right help.
