Any ideas what's making my nails break?!

Been breastfeeding for 5 1/2 months and I'm sure I must be lacking in something due to this that is making my nails presumably brittle. They break (clean breaks) really low down, along my finger tip. Bern happening last 6 weeks or so. Anyone got any ideas what I may be lacking in to cause this. Just so uncomfortable when they break so low, and annoyingly catch on clothes etc! Tia xxx

I'd guess its nothing to do with the BF, more to do with the handwashing you have been doing since having the baby?

Have you had your iron levels checked? I'm anaemic, my nails are really weak. I googled, it's a result of low iron levels.

Washing up liquid always makes mine break.
