Nose op or prolapse op or neither

I've got a mild prolapse on the front & back wall (sounds like a structural survey!) and say a gynae last night who said she is happy to operate on it, although she thinks I could try physio first. However she said that if I don't get my cough sorted out, the problem would reoccur, even with surgery. So that brings me onto my cough. I cough because of a post-nasal drip which I hate. I have been offered surgery to help my nose problem but it is not an overly successful op, with 40% chance of good improvement, 40% of little improvement & 10% of none but only 20% chance of reducing or eliminating post-nasal drip. What I want someone to say is 'If I was you...' Thanks.

If you can fix the prolapse with physio go down that route first and scrap the idea of the nose job and source what you're allergic to thats causing the post-nasal drip/rhinitis.

Is what i'd do.

I would try everything before an operation. So try physio first.

Nearly, the ENT chap found I'm not allergic to anythiing after years of me thinking I was, my nose is just sensitive to everything so am using sprays but have been forever. I will take on your advice though ladies - thank you.
