odd mooncup problem

when it is sealed and it doesn't leak, ii can feel it and it's uncomfortable. when i can't feel it, it leaks.

i have had it for 6 months now and this has been from the start. i re-check the instructions everytime but i still can't get it right. i have the A size because i have given birth vaginally.

should i just give up on it? it is really frustrating me and i avoid leaving the house when i'm on my period because i am constantly having to reinsert it/change my clothing.

have you varied how high up it is?

Yes, try varying how high up it goes. Mine sits quite high.

Do you run your finger round the top to make sure it is sealed and covering your cervix? Sometimes mine feels right but isn't so I have to check.

Also google different folds for inserting - mine works better issuing some methods than others.

yes tried different heights. when it is higher up it leaks, infact, basically nothing gets collected in the cup. and when it is lower down, not leaking, it is very uncomfortable. doesn't it break the seal if you run your finger round the top? i will google folds now. thank you both.

I insert it, make sure it has unfolded (no idea how some people reach the rim - I can only reach the bottom of the cup) and then pull gently on the stalk to make sure it is sitting evenly. That method works for me. I can't really feel it but it does press on my urethra a little, making peeing v slow! But tampons do similar.

Mine always leaks....even now I have a coil and hardly bleed. Every month I give it one last go and every time it let's me down.
I suspect some people just don't suit it
