Hi - anyone know roughly how much a private (patient paying) ECG woould be for a child?

And how much for a Holter Monitor recording?

TIA Smile

I've just posted on your other thread loopy. Are you near to a children's hospital at all or children's A&E? You could take him next time he has an episode (even if he is over it by the time you get there). I'm sure given the accompanying pain that they would do an ECG as a matter of course.

He hasn't had another episode that was like the first though.

I also googled and someone thought I'd need to book a cardiologist appointment privately (about £100?) because otherwise, I would have the trace done but no interpretation. Sounds right but £100 is well worth it if he can see a cardiologist as opposed to the GP reading it.

What symptoms did they have? Phone up your local Nuffield etc and ask. How about seeing a consultant privately if test need doing they will often switch to nhs ESP if a child

I don't know if it would help but have you looked at C-R-Y website? They offer screening.

Hi Hellhasnofury - I have looked at their site but didn't see they offer screening - thank you - I'll look again Smile

C-R-Y only offer screening to young people over 14 iirc.

Ah okay - thanks
