I just find it so hard, CBA to do the sodding housework! It's not even hard to do!, just incredibly boring!!!
I would love to have a nice tidy house but just can't seem to put in the effort to do it. I have a bit of social anxiety so don't feel like I want to go anywhere either.
I am just stuck in a boredom trap!!!

could be. there is a thing online called the mood gym, will try and link it, that can clarify your thinking, then approach GP

ThePsychicSatsuma · 22/02/2012 14:39

give it a whirl

ThePsychicSatsuma · 22/02/2012 14:40

what kind of social anxiety? have you got a baby at home? are you working at all? anyone you can ring for a chat and a coffee? where are you in the UK?

BlackCatTryingToFly · 22/02/2012 15:04

Will try and look at the link later, thanks.
I have a preschooler and a child at school. I have seen my GP who referred me to MH. am waiting for counselling. I just need to find ways to cope till then.
I can do small amounts if I push myself, just have an overwhelming sense of CBA some times. Have no friends in RL.

Second mood gym, livinglifetothefull another site set up by uk psychiatrist. Do not underestimate the power of walking start with 5 mins if no motivation and build up. Black dog books may clarify your thoughts. Patient.co.uk search low mood self help guides available

Have you looked at yr consumption of fizzy sugary drinks and alcohol; do you smoke? Those can affect yr body negatively also yr mind of course. Too much wheat can also make you feel exhausted.

On a positive note cleanliness is more important than tidiness in yr. house IMO. Having happy L.O.'s is a priority.
