Go and see your GP, it could be something easily sorted. Smile

ohbugrit · 20/02/2012 18:49

I know that feeling well - acid in my throat, burning eyes, fuzzy head and everything aches. Much sympathy.

Grumpla · 20/02/2012 18:50

How much sleep are you actually getting? Because if you're (say) up two or three times a night and knackered as a result that's a bit different from getting 8 hours and still feeling like you've just been dug up!

Sparklingbrook · 20/02/2012 18:52

Oh no, you aren't going down with the 'virus from hell' that's sweeping the nation are you? DS2 had it all half term. Sad

BlackCatTryingToFly · 20/02/2012 18:55

I know I am ill, last night was up at 3.30am so not enough sleep. worrying about stuff. Went to GP last week so she knows the situation.

Oh don't worry BlackCat.

catinboots · 20/02/2012 19:04

I get this. Seriously. Most people don't understand.

I NEED 8 hours sleep a night. If I have less than 6 hours I am really ill. I have palpitations and chest pains. I have a dry mouth, painful eyes and head. My concentration is shot. I couldn't drive if I had less than 6 hours sleep. I've even rung my mum to look after the DCs in the past when I have had missed sleep (eg DS2 rushed to hospital)

I would have to call in sick to work and have done in the past if my sleep pattern is disturbed. Most people just laugh it off, but to me it is a real health issue.

BlackCatTryingToFly · 20/02/2012 19:09

I have anaemia and some MH issues.

I find it does help to try and take a multivitamin & eat plenty of fruit / veg if you are going through a period of sleeplessness / exhaustion. It's tempting just to live on toast / chips etc but makes you feel even more sluggish.

Be kind to yourself and do make allowances for yourself! Don't expect to get everything done / soldier on as normal.

liveinazoo · 20/02/2012 19:19

its ok honey.
you have a lot going on at the moment and with a bad nights sleeplast night its bound get to you
what you need is an early night(and a good dose chocolate)
