Hi, is it normal for an adult to have diahorrea every morning? mine has been like this for some time now. Sorry for tmi but I'm regular the minute that I get up and may go twice then that's it until the following day. I do have health anxiety so not sure if I should go to my GP..

No but could be something like IBS or an intolerance.

I would go to your gp. It may well be your health anxiety that is contributing to it, but it could also be, like LIZS says, a food intolerance or IBS. Sounds awful though. I get Diahorrea alot myself, although it happens randomly. Have you tried taking immodium or anything? I did that the last time I had it and it stopped it completely for quite a while. (I just took one dose). Maybe your bowel is just overactive at the moment and it needs something to settle it down.

Thankyou for your replies, I am worried it has been going on for a while now. I don't have any discomfort or pain with it. I have booked an appt with my GP next Tues I'm very nervous. I haven't tried Immodium Mrsjangles as I don't know what the cause it & it can't be dodgy tum as it has been like this for a while sorry tmi but even this morning I went 4 times literally 5 mins apart then it stops until the following morning :-(

start keeping a food diary and record absolutely everything you eat and drink. this will help when you talk to your doctor.

certain foods are triggers but you need to know what they are.

I am in the same boat and nothing works. currently now being investigated further to rule out certain illnesses but it has been a very stressful time

I hope that you get to the root of it soon Iamseeingstars. Has the Dr any ideas atall as to what it could be? I did ignore my symptoms for a while because I have health anxiety & with me ailments tend to go from one to the next but I will start a diary thankyou :-)
