Hashimoto's and menopause

Is anybody else in this situation? I feel so very, very tired, snappy and often close to tears. My doc says, "You're early 50's, your TSH levels are fine, this is what happens, suck it up".

I think your do for sounds like an idiot. There could be many reasons you feel like this, are you happy in your personal life?at work? You may be tired because you are doing too much? Not always down to menopause often at this age we are coping with grown up children and elderly parents.

I think you should look at your life, and see another doctor in your practise.

He or she wouldn't be treating a male patient with such dismissivness.
