echo was done today. lots of questions about bi-vads. person doing the scan looked very confused, its not looking good tbh. but he seems ok, pukey but ok.

sorry am assuming that by now you may all know what bi-vad is. if he needs bi-vad it'll mean more open heart surgery to attach another pump to the right side of his heart.

nothing has been said yet, so all may be ok, but the weight loss indicate something is going wrong.q

yes and nope.

have had some idea things werent going right for a while as his weight has been dropping rapidly the last few weeks. he had x-ray yesterday and an echo late this afternoon. appatite has gone again, is puking, and weaker than normal. just gotta wait for cardiologist to see the results oif echo and see what their plan is. tbh he only has 2 options, transplant or bi-vad. keep fingers crossed for being able to carry on without bi-vad, and we get a transplant soon.

So sorry, Misdee. I hope that new heart comes up asap.
